PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solar cell which allows for narrow pitch of electrodes arranged on the back side of a solar cell substrate, while enhancing reliability of connection of the electrodes on the back side of a solar cell substrate and the wiring of a wiring board, and avoiding short circuit between adjoining electrodes on the back side of a solar cell substrate.SOLUTION: In a solar cell having such a structure that a strip p-type semiconductor region (interdigital part) 10b and a strip n-type semiconductor region (interdigital part) 20b are arranged alternately on the rear surface of an n-type silicon substrate 1 on the reverse side of the light-receiving surface, a p-type electrode 11 is formed in the strip p-type semiconductor region 10b so as to extend along that region, and an n-type electrode 12 is formed on the strip n-type semiconductor region 20b so as to extend along that region. The n-type electrode 12 includes an electrode layer 12a formed in contact with the n-type semiconductor region 20b, and a plating layer 12b formed to cover the electrode layer. The plating layer 12b is coated with an insulating resin film 15 excepting one end side portion of the n-type electrode 12. |
