PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress tacking-in by reducing the braking force of the rear wheel side and increasing the lateral force of a rear wheel by reducing tolerance for an inner wheel difference during engine braking of turn traveling.SOLUTION: When an accelerator opening changing amount &Dgr;ACC exceeds a threshold Hc, the fastening torque reduction amount &Dgr;TC of a center clutch and the fastening torque increase amount &Dgr;TR of a rear clutch are respectively set (S2 and S3). Then, by reducing the fastening torque by the reduction amount &Dgr;TC of the center clutch and increasing the fastening torque of the left and right rear clutches by the increase amount &Dgr;TR, a mode is switched to a tack-in suppression mode (S4). Thus, by the synergetic effect of the increase of the lateral force margin of a rear wheel side achieved by the fastening torque reduction effect of the center clutch and the additional yaw moment of a direction canceling entrainment during turning achieved by the fastening torque increase of the rear clutch, tacking-in during turn traveling is suppressed extremely effectively. |
