PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately construct a wireless communication network.SOLUTION: A wireless communication apparatus: controls functions as a master station and a slave station; detects first predetermined information input when the other wireless communication apparatus satisfies a predetermined condition and second predetermined information for determining whether the wireless communication apparatus operates as the master station or the slave station, the first and second predetermined information being transmitted from the other wireless communication apparatus; determines whether the wireless communication apparatus operates as the master station or the slave station on the basis of the second predetermined information; and participates in a wireless communication network constructed by the other wireless communication apparatus when operating as the slave station and constructs the wireless communication network when operating as the master station. The wireless communication apparatus: operates as the slave station, when receiving a signal containing the first predetermined information from the other wireless communication apparatus and communicating with the other wireless communication apparatus; and operates as either the master station or the slave station according to the determination based on the second predetermined information, when receiving a signal not containing the first predetermined information from the other wireless communication apparatus and communicating with the other wireless communication apparatus. |
