PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate manufacturing method, a glass substrate packing method and a glass substrate packed body which are capable of easily inhibiting isolating paper from drooping in a glass substrate stacking direction.SOLUTION: A glass substrate manufacturing method includes a glass substrate packing method in which a plurality of glass substrates 10 are leaned and stacked on a pallet 20, with isolating paper 12 interposed between the substrates. The isolating paper 12 has an upper protrusion 12a. The upper protrusion 12a is a portion protruding from the upper edge of the glass substrates 10. In the glass substrate manufacturing method, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 30 is attached to at least part of side portions of the upper protrusions 12a to connect the plural sheets of isolating paper 12.
