PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost troubleshooting method without need of measurement means or communication means for a solar cell system.SOLUTION: The troubleshooting method comprises: calculation of the quantity of solar radiation while updating a predetermined coefficient J that a ratio of a short-circuit current to a working current according to a state of a solar cell array (8d); and calculation of a working temperature Tb and a fault number of solar cell modules in the solar cell array, using measurement data 8c including working currents and working voltages measured by a detecting section (8a, 8b).
