PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function for determining an important subject to be registered in dictionary data when the dictionary data for subject recognition is automatically registered.SOLUTION: A registration part 114 registers, with respect to a subject not recognized even using both dictionary data and temporary dictionary data, feature data of the subject in the temporary dictionary data when the subject has a prescribed value or larger of a first importance degree indicating duration time length during which the subject is traced in a series of frames. A subject recognition part 110 recognizes the subject as a subject registered in the dictionary data or as a subject registered in the temporary dictionary data by comparing the feature data of the subject with feature data registered in the dictionary data. A registration part 114 further moves, with respect to the subject recognized as registered in the temporary dictionary data, the feature data of the subject to the dictionary data according to a result that the subject is recognized as a subject registered in the temporary dictionary data. |
