PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition device, method, and program capable of accurately recognizing a person captured in an image.SOLUTION: An acquisition unit acquires an image. A detection unit detects a face area of a target person to be a recognition target from the image. An extraction unit extracts feature data of the face area. A calculation unit calculates reliability of the feature data based on the size of the face area. A collation unit refers to a database storing in advance pieces of feature data of faces of a plurality of persons, and collates the extracted feature data with the pieces of feature data stored in the database using the reliability to recognize the target person. |
