PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device capable of holding a gear tray in a chassis without using any slip-off preventing member, and preventing the deformation or destruction of a member for holding the gear tray.SOLUTION: A disk device includes: a disk tray on which a disk recording medium is placed; a gear tray for driving the disk tray; and a chassis in which the disk tray and the gear tray are stored. The gear tray includes: a gear tray main body formed with a recess; an elastic spring part extended from the inner surface of the recess; and a claw part disposed in the elastic spring part. The chassis is formed with a boss for rotatably holding the gear tray. The boss includes: a hollow fitting part to be fitted into the recess of the gear tray main body; and an engagement part disposed inside the fitting part. The elastic spring part of the gear tray is inserted inside the fitting part. The claw part of the gear tray is engaged with the engagement part of the boss. |
