PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fitting an insert member, which allows the insert member to be embedded and fitted in the external wall of a blow molded product, being easily manufactured and having a large strength for holding the insert member.SOLUTION: A structure for fitting an insert member 20 allows at least a part of the insert member 20 to be embedded in the external wall 2 of a blow molded product 1 for fitting. The insert member 20 includes a cylindrical part which passes through the external wall 2 of the blow molded product 1 and a flange part 23 which juts out from the external surface of the cylindrical part in the width direction. The flange part 23 is embedded in the external wall 2 of the blow molded product 1, having a plurality of holes 24 in which a parison 50 flows so that both sides of the flange 23 are fusion bonded to the parison 50. After hardening of the parison 50, the flange part 23 is held with a flange cover part integrally formed with the external wall of the insert member 20. |
