PURPOSE: An operation controlling method for a compressor integrated with motor driven power steering (MDPS) is provided to shorten a delay time for changing an operation mode by controlling the deceleration of a motor and the on/off of a clutch at the same time. CONSTITUTION: An operation controlling method for a compressor integrated with MDPS comprises the following steps: delivering the rotary force of a single motor to an MDPS gear box when a first electromagnetic clutch is turned on and operating an MDPS mode which assists the steering of a driver; delivering the rotary force of the single motor to a compressor when a second electromagnetic clutch is turned on and operating an air conditioning mode in order to compress refrigerant for cooling the inside of a vehicle; and delivering the rotary force of the motor to the MDPS gear box and the compressor at the same time and operating the MDPS and air conditioning mode in order to operate a power steering device and the compressor at the same time.
