A circuit arrangement of an electric vehicle for inductive power transfer to the vehicle, comprises a wayside circuit 10 and a vehicle side circuit 11. The wayside circuit comprises segments N, N+1, arranged along a path of travel of a vehicle on a driving surface. Each segment comprises inverter 12, filter 13 and primary windings 14. The vehicle side circuit comprises an impedance LS1-3, CS1-3, and rectifier 6 for receiving and rectifying the AC voltage from the wayside circuit, and a three-phase full-bridge inverter 19. The inverter is connected in parallel with the rectifier and generates a control voltage from energy stored in circuit capacitor 7. The control voltage is used to compensate for power drop and maintain tuned system performance. |
