PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing door device which enables a door body in a fully-closed state to be opened to a fully-opened position without the need for an initial opening operation performed by a passer-by or the like. SOLUTION: This opening and closing door apparatus includes the door body 11 which performs an opening motion of moving in the width direction of an opening while turning, and an assist means 50 for forcedly making the door body 11 in the midst of the opening motion to be opened to the fully-opened position when the door body 11 in a fully-closed position is opened to a midway position. The opening and closing door apparatus is equipped with a pushing device 60 in the door thickness direction for pushing the body 11 in the direction of the door thickness so as to make the door body to be opened to the midway position when receiving an opening signal in the fully-closed state.
