<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle maintenance support device capable of easily performing the maintenance of on-vehicle equipment. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle maintenance support device 1, a traveling direction when a vehicle 10 approaches a garage is specified based on the position of a battery storage part B, and when the vehicle 10 approaches the garage, the traveling direction is detected. In a case where the detected traveling direction and the specified traveling direction are different from each other, parking operation by a driver of the vehicle 10 is rejected. Therefore, when the battery storage part B is positioned forward the vehicle, the specified traveling direction is set rearward the vehicle, and only reverse parking is permitted.
