The present invention relates to an outlet and a plug, and more specifically to safety outlet and plug using a magnet, which can be connected to each other by a magnetic force of the magnet to apply power for using electrical and electronic devices and can prevent electricity related safety accidents which may occur due to chopsticks or moisture in advance. To this end, the present invention discloses an outlet embedded in a wall or prepared outside the wall to be applied with power by an electrical wire, and including: an insertion groove which is indented inwards, and into which a plug is inserted; a safety member which protrudes from the center of the insertion groove and extends upwards; a contact hole which is formed at both sides of the safety member, and into which a plug is inserted; and a power connection unit which formed at an inner side of the contact hole to be applied with power by a magnet, and a plug which contacts with the outlet for power application. |
