The present invention relates to a power transmission device for a vessel which comprises a torque converter arranged between an engine and a propeller to transmit a driving force of the engine to the propeller. The torque converter comprises: a front cover; an impeller connected to the front cover to be rotated; a turbine arranged oppositely to the impeller; and a stator arranged between the impeller and the turbine to change a flow of oil from the turbine toward the impeller. Therefore, the power transmission device can operate the propeller just by a small output by amplifying the torque outputted from the engine at the time of initial start-up. |
