In the present invention, there is disclosed a composite sandwich panel (1), especially panel for floors of conveyance means consisting of an upper coating (2) and a lower coating (3), a core (4) and an edge section (5) arranged on at least one side of the composite sandwich panel (1) circumference and intended for fastening the panel (1). The invention is characterized in that the core (4) is performed of aluminium honeycomb, at least one coating (2, 3) is made of self-extinguishing composite and the edge section (5) is made of a composite material, whereby the upper coating (2) rests on the core with an upper overlap (6) and the lower coating (3) rests on the core (4) with a lower overlap (7), the base (8) of the edge section (5) is fixedly situated between the upper and lower overlaps (6, 7) and the external portion (9) of the edge section (5) overlaps the contour of the upper and lower coatings (2, 3).
