PURPOSE: A resin composition for an optical member is provided to obtain cured materials with excellent optical properties such as transparency and high refractive index. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for an optical member comprises polytitanate having the polymerization degree of 200 or less and satisfies the condition of general equation 1: X >= 1.7, wherein X represents the refractive index of the cured material of the resin composition and is 1.75 or greater. The polytitanate is the polymer of a monomer mixture including titan alkoxide, titan halide or titanium acetoacetate. |
