The present invention relates to a self-controlled steam ejector which discharges mixed steam to a discharge steam pipe by supplying motive steam and sucking suction steam through a driving nozzle with a motive steam pipe and a valve cone, and which has: a valve stem formed at one side of the valve cone, having a valve spring at one side thereof, and having a diaphragm valve at the end part thereof; and a pressure pipeline transmitting the pressure of the mixed steam and connecting the diaphragm valve to a certain point at the outlet of the discharge steam pipe, wherein the valve cone connected to the diaphragm valve is driven by the pressure of the mixed steam discharged from the discharge steam pipe so that the opening degree of the driving nozzle can be controlled, and has spiral grooves at the surface thereof so that vortices can be generated in the supplied motive steam. A self-controlled steam ejector according to the present invention maintains the amount of discharged steam even if the pressure of motive steam is varied, and increases the amount of suction steam against the amount of the motive steam by increasing frictional force between the motive steam and the suction steam sucked thereby, wherein the frictional force is increased by the generation of vortices.
