A network separation system comprises: a user terminal which includes a host OS for executing a first process in need of access to an internal network, and a guest OS for executing a second process in need of access to an external network; and a dummy web server which informs an activated user terminal of a predetermined specific IP address when the host OS receives a request for access to a web site connected to the external network from the user terminal, and transmits an OS switching direction to the user terminal when the user attempts to access the predetermined specific IP address. Under the system, the user terminal inactivates the host OS and activates the guest OS according to the OS switching direction.
