The present invention relates to a heat pump type cooling and heating system using an auxiliary heat source and, more specifically, to the heat pump type cooling and heating system using an auxiliary heat source which not only improves the efficiency of a cooling and heating system by a simple configuration using a pressure retention valve, but also improves a heating performance using the auxiliary heat sources such as geothermal heat, underground water, and waste heat even in a cold weather such as winter. The heat pump type cooling and heating system according to the present invention comprises: a heat pump including a compressor, a four-way valve, an expansion valve, a condenser, and an evaporator; a first and a second heat exchanger installed to be respectively connected to the four-way valve; a pressure retention valve installed between the first and the second heat exchanger; and an auxiliary heat exchanger installed to be connected between the second heat exchanger and the compressor. |
