The present invention relates to a device and a method for removing a weld bead of a welded portion of plates which processes the surface of the welded portion of the plates to obtain an excellent surface and facilitate a post processing task by preventing an undercut. The device and the method for removing the weld bead of the welded portion of the plates which make the weld bead (10) protrude upward more from horizontal surfaces (8a, 9a) of the plates (74a, 74b) by a projection unit (110) of a jig (100) and pressing members (310, 320), thereby accurately cutting boundary portions of the welding bead (10) and inclined surfaces (8b, 9b) of the two plates (74a, 74b) without cutting the horizontal surfaces (8a, 9a) of the plates (74a, 74b) when a cutting device (200) cuts while moving horizontally. |
