Disclosed is a screen safety device which comprises one or more screen doors to be vertically opened or closed, a pair of ascending and descending units with a driving part for controlling the ascent and the descent of the screen door, and a sensor for sensing objects in the front or rear side of the screen door; and which is designed to determine whether to allow the manual opening or closing of the screen door according to the existence of sensed objects in the front or rear side when external force applied to the screen door is sensed. |
