FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Plaster diluted in fluid to paste state is applied on consumable pattern outer surface and contains the following components in wt %: boron carbide - 55-75, sodium fluoride - 1-5, titanium diboride - 25-45. This composition is air-dried to produce a stiff crust. Dried consumable pattern is moulded in flask at filling up with dry quartz sand and pouring to produce casts with hardened ceramic ply with hardened diffusion layer located there under.EFFECT: higher wear and corrosion resistance.1 tbl
