The present invention relates to an insulator for insulating a wire and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the insulator comprises a first insulating housing injection-molded with a male screw or a female screw buried at one end thereof; and a second insulating housing injection-molded to envelop the other end of the first insulating housing. The structure of the insulator is simple and the insulator is easy to manufacture and has improved durability and insulation. The present invention can solve the problems of deformation and damage during injection and the deterioration of insulation by foam generation by molding two insulating housings separately. And the present invention can improve productivity owing to the simple structure and parts are replaced easily owing to the modularization of the composition. The first insulating housing is formed in the form of a polyhedron to minimize the inner movement and includes a groove or groove line on each face of the polyhedron, thereby enhancing joint strength. Also insulation and durability is improved by forming the insulating housings composed of different materials. Insulation distance can be adjusted by injection-molding the second insulating housing after injection-molding the first insulating housing with a male screw or a female screw buried in advance. |
