PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee that the printed output of a print job matches the expected output of the print job.SOLUTION: A system includes a control unit and a comparison unit. The control unit receives a print job, and adds a tag to each of the logical pages of the print job to correct the print job, and transmits the corrected print job to a printer device. The control unit also generates a target image about each of the logical pages of the print job. The comparison unit receives the print pages of the print job from the printer device. The comparison unit identifies the tag of each of the print pages of the print job, and identifies the target image associated with the tag on the print page, and compares the image of the print page with the target image, and detects a mismatching point between the image of the print page and the target image. |
