A method for synthesis of lactic acid and its derivatives comprises reacting at least one of carbohydrate-contained raw materials, at least one of alcohols, at least one of catalysts containing a combination of metal chlorides MCln and Sn-contained compounds, and at least one of solvents under a heating condition. The method is simple in process, environment friendly, efficient and economical. |
