The invention describes and illustrates a system (1) for throughflow measurement, the system having at least one first throughflow measurement unit (2) and one second throughflow measurement unit (3). The invention is based on the problem of proposing a system for throughflow measurement, which system permits self-monitoring in a simple manner. In the case of the system in question, the problem is solved in that the first throughflow measurement unit (2) and the second throughflow measurement unit (3) differ from one another and/or exhibit different orientations for the throughflow measurement and have in each case one evaluation unit (4, 5) that generates data from the throughflow measurement. Also provided is a monitoring device (6) which is connected to the evaluation units (4, 5) such that it receives data generated by the evaluation units (4, 5) and which is configured such that, on the basis of a comparison of the data received from the evaluation units (4, 5), it generates at least one comparison result and signals at least the occurrence of a fault state associated with at least one comparison result. |
