PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fulcrum bearing device of a pulley arm capable of reliably preventing attachment and accumulation of foreign matters intruding into a clearance gap formed between opposed portions of a boss portion and a washer.SOLUTION: A shaft insertion hole 5 is formed on a boss portion 4 of a pulley arm 1 supporting a tension pulley 2, and biased in the direction to press a belt B by the tension pulley 2, by a hydraulic auto-tensioner 3, a sleeve 7 is inserted into the shaft insertion hole 5, washers 8 are respectively fitted to outer peripheries of small-diameter cylindrical portions 7a formed on both end portions of the sleeve 7, the sleeve 7 is fixed to an engine block 10 by fastening a bolt 9 inserted into the sleeve 7, and the pulley arm 1 is swingably supported. One end portion of a cylindrical body 21 is press-fitted to an outer diameter surface of the washer 8, and an inner diameter surface of a seal ring 22 fastened to an inner periphery of the other end portion of the cylindrical body 21, is elastically kept into contact with an outer diameter surface of the boss portion 4 to cover an outer peripheral opening of a clearance gap 11 formed between opposed portions of the washer 8 and the boss portion 4 over the whole periphery, thus intrusion of foreign matters into the clearance gap 11 can be prevented. |
