PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for electrolysis that enables effective, efficient electrolytic treatment by preventing a metal component of the electrode from dissolving in a solution, for example, in a process of electrochemically reducing oxide-form nitrogen in water to be treated, such as waste water, for removal.SOLUTION: The electrode for electrolysis is formed by coating a surface of a conductor with an alloy in an amorphous state. The electrode for electrolysis can be used as a cathode to electrolyze, for example, oxide-form nitrogen components in water to be treated. |
