<p>An eyewear 100 utilizing screw-less hinges 106a, 106b to connect the temples 104a, 104b, respectively, to the frame 102. The frame 102 terminates bilaterally at open, curved rungs 200a, 200b, each configured to receive a cylinder 222. One cylinder 222 is fixed to each temple 104a, 104b. Due to the configuration of the curved rungs 200a, 200b, the cylinders 222 can be inserted into the curved rungs 200a, 200b in a rotatable or pivotable fashion. The cylinders 222 receiving the curved rungs 200a, 200b hold the frame together and keep eye wires 112a, 112b from opening, thus keeping lenses 110a, 110b from falling out of the eyewear 100. A wedge tool 300 can be used to displace the curved rung 200a, 200b from the cylinders 222 to easily remove the temples 104a, 104b from the frame 102.</p> |
