PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device configured to properly maintain a contact state between a power supply member and an electrode, while preventing reduction in service life of the power supply member.SOLUTION: In a fixing device, a pressure member is pressed against an outer peripheral surface of a fixing belt 50 including a resistance heating layer 70 to form a fixing nip, and a sheet on which an unfixed image is formed passes through the fixing nip for thermal fixation. A flanged power receiving member 68 is provided so as to bring a part of a cylindrical part 68A into contact with both side ends of the resistance heating layer 70 in a belt width direction. A power supply member 58 is brought into elastic pressure contact with a flange part 68B in the belt width direction. |
