The observation information processing device (100) calculates a degree of confidence for each adjacent mesh set, on the basis of the degree of support and the degree of confidence for each mesh included in the adjacent mesh set, and sets the lowest degree of confidence among the degrees of confidence as the new degree of confidence threshold. The observation information processing device (100) detects and removes mesh for removal from among the mesh included in the adjacent mesh set, on the basis of the degree of confidence and the degree of support for the mesh included in the adjacent mesh set and the degree of confidence threshold.
