Disclosed is a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal according to the present invention, comprises: a case which can be assembled or disassembled; a printed circuit board (PCB) which is arranged inside of the case and is provided with a tamper detect pattern having a plurality of conductive areas and at least one nonconductive area; a conductive area connection unit, which is arranged between the case and the printed circuit board, for electrically connecting a portion of the plurality of conductive areas the case is assembled and releasing the electrical connection of the portion of the plurality of conductive areas when the case is disasseblemd; and a conductive area connection detection circuit, which is electrically connected to the conductive areas, for detecting the status of electrical connection between the conductive areas, wherein the conductive areas comprise a first conductive area, a plurality of second conductive areas that are connected to the first conductive area through the conductive area connection unit and are arranged apart from each other, and a third conductive area of which at least a portion is arranged between the second conductive areas.
