PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which has a tray that is easily attached to and detached from the air cleaner, and has an electrode unit that is also attached to and detached from the air cleaner.SOLUTION: The air cleaner has an electrode unit 50 which has an electrode in an inner part thereof and is provided so as to come close to or be separated from a bottom face 14 of a housing 10. The air cleaner has a first operational state in which the electrode unit 50 is held at a position close to the bottom face 14 of the housing 10, and a second operational state in which the electrode unit 50 is held at a position separated from the bottom face 14 of the housing 10. The air cleaner sets the electrode unit 50 at the first operational state after a tray 40 is mounted, and sets the electrode unit 50 at the second operational state when the tray 40 is attached to and detached from the air cleaner. |
