PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting system capable of detecting LED abnormality without causing malfunction even when an ambient condition changes, such as power source voltage changes, and also capable of reducing the number of components, thereby capable of contributing to reduced price.SOLUTION: An LED lighting system includes: an LED 1 lighting unit including a plurality of unit circuits 4 connected in parallel, the unit circuits being formed by including an LED circuit 2 and equivalent each other; a comparison unit B using at least one of the unit circuits 4 as a reference unit circuit 4 (1), acquiring potentials at predetermined first points P11, P12 in the reference unit circuit 4 (1), as a reference potential, while acquiring a potential at a predetermined second point P2 in the other unit circuit 4, as an inspection potential, and then comparing each potential having been acquired; and an output unit C, according to the comparison result at the comparison unit B, outputting so that the LED abnormality of the unit circuit 4 can be determined. |
