PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensing type water heater including a front cover which causes little discoloration and maintains high aesthetic quality over a long period even when combustion exhaust air is condensed near an exhaust port.SOLUTION: An exterior case 2 of a condensing type water heater 1 includes: a body case 2a which has a front surface opening 20 and in which a latent heat recovery type heat exchanger 5 is housed; and a front cover 2b which closes the front surface opening 20 and has an exhaust port 9 for exhausting combustion exhaust air sent through the latent heat recovery type heat exchanger 5. A pearl tone paint containing a mica pigment coated by a metal oxide is applied to at least an upper part of the exhaust port 9 of the front cover 2b. |
