<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide an elevator device in an elevator with differing rated elevator car speeds when ascending and when descending, the elevator device being designed to reduce the space needed for the speed regulator and simplify structure. The elevator device is configured so that: a sheave (9b), which is supported by a horizontal shaft (9e) and on which the upper end of a speed-regulating rope (9a) is wound, and two kinds of follower sprocket wheels (9h1, 9h2) (with different numbers of teeth) are disposed; a transmission chain (9f) is made to be capable of sliding to either of the two kinds of follower sprocket wheels (9h1, 9h2); the transmission chain (9f) is switched to a follower sprocket wheel (9h1, 9h2) via a sliding means (9C) in accordance with the direction of elevator car operation; and a speed-regulating unit (9A) detects a specified overspeed during ascent and detects a specified overspeed during descent using a driving bevel gear (9A1) and a follower bevel gear (9A2).</p> |
