PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite particle giving excellent use feeling, allowing effective prevention of makeup coming off by selectively adsorbing sebum, specifically free fatty acid, and having the effect of adjusting skin texture; and a cosmetic composition comprising the composite particle.SOLUTION: A composite particle is obtained by polymerization of a vinyl monomer, where amorphous calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate are coated on the surface of a resin particle containing either a component of diester of phosphorous acid or partial ester of phosphoric acid.
