The present invention provides a dye-sensitized solar cell element which has excellent durability. A dye-sensitized solar cell element (100) of the present invention comprises at least one dye-sensitized solar cell (50), and each dye-sensitized solar cell is provided with: a conductive substrate (15) which comprises a transparent substrate (11) and a transparent conductive film (12) that is provided on one surface of the transparent substrate; a counter substrate (20) which faces the conductive substrate; an oxide semiconductor layer (13) which is provided on the conductive substrate or on the counter substrate; and an annular sealing part (30A) which joins the conductive substrate and the counter substrate with each other. The transparent conductive film has a main part that is arranged inside the sealing part, and the transparent conductive film is provided with grooves (90). At least some of the grooves have first grooves (90A) that are formed along the contour of the sealing part. An insulating material enters into at least a part of each first groove, and continuously extends to cover the edge of the main part. |
