PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: ballast tamping is desired to be more efficiently performed than ever by a ballast tamping tool, because track bedrock has to be stabilized and strengthened to secure a safe train service.SOLUTION: In a ballast tamping tool, a rhombic part 21b extended in a hanging direction from an inverted U-shaped eleatic part 21a formed in a thin shape is formed; a slit 21c is in a longitudinally central part; a wide serrated step 22 is formed on the outer peripheries of the elastic part and the rhombic part; and an extended serrated step 22a is connected in such a manner as to be extended above the elastic part. |
