PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D converter that performs high speed A/D conversion with high accuracy without using any capacitive elements requiring an additional manufacturing process.SOLUTION: The A/D converter having: a capacitive main DAC that has a positive side capacitive main DAC DACP and a negative side capacitive main DAC DACN operating complementarily, and serves to receive differential signals and convert upper bits; a resistive sub DAC that serves to convert lower bits; a resistive correction DAC that corrects the capacitive main DAC; and a comparator CMP that has a plurality of differential circuits and compares output potentials of the positive side capacitive main DAC and the negative side capacitive main DAC is so configured that the positive side capacitive main DAC and the negative side capacitive main DAC have first capacitive elements CN0', CN0-CN3 each formed of wiring layers excluding an uppermost wiring layer, and that the comparator has second capacitive elements CC1, CC2 disposed between adjacent differential circuits CMP1, CMP2 and formed of wiring layers including the uppermost wiring layer. |
