PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive paint brush.SOLUTION: A pair of divided members a1 and a2 are made to butt on each other to constitute a handle body A. The divided members a1 and a2 include an annular recess part 9 formed inside a holding part 4 thereof. A bristle bundle H to be retained by the handle body A is integrated therewith at a melting part 1 formed by melting a root part of the bristle bundle, and the outer periphery of the melting part 1 is formed larger than the outside diameter of the bristle bundle H to form a flange 2. The divided members a1 and a2 are ultrasonically welded, with the flange 2 fitted in the annular recess part 9. |
