PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the running cost of a recording apparatus while preventing deterioration in image quality.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus comprises: storage means for storing a plurality of tables each including a plurality of driving conditions for driving a plurality of heaters; selection means for selecting, out of the plurality of tables, the table to be referred to in performing recording; setting means for referring to the selected table and selecting and setting, out of the plurality of driving conditions included in the table, the driving condition to be used in performing the recording based on an environment where the recording is performed; measurement means for measuring the number of times of driving of the plurality of heaters, which have been driven according to the set driving condition, for the corresponding driving condition; calculation means for accumulating the measured numbers of times of driving by applying weights respectively corresponding to the driving conditions; and recording control means for performing control to select, out of the plurality of tables, the table to be referred to in performing the recording according to a result of the accumulation, to complete the recording on a recording medium. |
