The device for electrical generation of hydrogen from water, comprises an electrolyzer of a polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) type, which has an input (2) for supplying water and a first output for the water and/or water vapor and a second output (4) for oxygen and water, and a water separator device (7), whose input is connected to the first output of the electrolyzer and gas leading output leads to a hydrogen removal system.
