The machine has a steering device (1) comprising a steering angle transmitter (2), which stands in effective connection with a steering valve (4). The valve forms a hydraulic control path (25), which exhibits a fixed steering transmission ratio. Another parallel, controllable hydraulic control path (26) is provided for a steering drive (20) i.e. steering cylinder, which is connected to the former control path. The latter control path enables production of additional volume stream at the steering drive, where the steering transmission ratio is changed during connection of the latter path.
