A combination cot 1 and roll-over cage 2, the roll-over cage configurable to fit over the cot so as to define a protection zone 12 for an infant. The cage has open access windows 9 on each side for providing access to an infant positioned in the protection zone from each side. The cage or protective frame may be removable and formed by inwardly bending tubular arch sections 8. The arches may join together at a handle 11. Preferably the cot receives the cage via flanged rails 7 on each side of the cot which accept hooked formations 10 of the protective frame. The cage allows a flat bed cot or mattress to be placed on a parents bed whilst providing protection against the infant being crushed or trapped by the parent or bed sheets. |
