摘要 The present invention provides a wastewater treatment system and method using a sieving-membrane bioreactor process capable of reducing total operating costs in which since a sieving process bioreactor is positioned at a front portion, the wastewater treatment load of a membrane bioreactor is reduced, so that the amount of a membrane module that is used is reduced, the quality of water draining away is enhanced, the amount of air is reduced and blocking of the membrane is alleviated. The wastewater treatment system using a sieving-membrane bioreactor process according to a pertinent embodiment of the present invention includes a sieving process bioreactor having a filtering element for reducing the concentration of sludge of an inflowing treatment wastewater and a membrane bioreactor connected to a rear portion of the sieving process bioreactor and decomposing water draining from the sieving process bioreactor using biochemically active bacteria and treating contents of the treatment wastewater except for the bacteria by using a membrane, thereby reducing the treatment load of the membrane bioreactor.
