A pixel unit comprises a first pixel, a second pixel, a third pixel, and a fourth pixel disposed in a 2*2 matrix structure. Each of the first to fourth pixels contains a first sub pixel, a second sub pixel, and a third sub pixel. The first sub pixel of each of the first to fourth pixels has a first color. The second sub pixel of the first pixel and the second sub pixel of the fourth pixel have a second color. The third sub pixel of the first pixel and the third sub pixel of the fourth pixel have a third color. The second sub pixel of the second pixel and the second sub pixel of the third pixel have a fourth color. The third sub pixel of the second pixel and the third sub pixel of the third pixel have a fifth color.
