According to an embodiment of the present invention, a heating apparatus for a slab comprises: a heating furnace of which a slab charging hole, where a slab is charged, is formed on one side and which heats the charged slab moving along one direction; a moving cover which is mounted on the slab charging hole, moves along the one direction, and forms a heat sustaining space communicating with an inner space of the heating furnace; and a curtain which is installed on an inlet of the moving cover and prevents heat of the inner space of the heating furnace from being released to the outside. |
