<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video display for effectively preventing occurrence of 3D crosstalk. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic video display includes: a liquid crystal panel 2 having n scanning lines in a row direction; a backlight 3 illuminating the back of the liquid crystal panel 2; a spectacles shutter 7 having a liquid crystal element 9 on each of a left-eye part and a right-eye part; and a liquid crystal shutter driving circuit 5 synchronously driving the liquid crystal panel 2 and the spectacles shutter 7. The backlight 3 corresponding to at least a part of scanning lines in a lower area of the liquid crystal panel 2 is made to emit light previous to the backlight 3 corresponding to the scanning line just before, whereby its lighting time rate is made larger than that of the backlight corresponding to the scanning lines at other parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
